About Us
Welcome to Teach Maverick! Our website was founded with a simple purpose: to give educators an inexpensive and accessible way to get vital resources for their classroom. That vision has expanded into so many different areas. We now offer a $1.99 subscription to give teachers access to high-impact and standards-based lesson/unit plans. Our blog features some of the newest and sometimes the wildest ideas in education. The Admin Angle provides school administrators with a valuable tool for leading their schools. Our Parent Tips page gives parents a teacher's perspective for partnering with schools in their child's education. Whatever your needs are, Teach Maverick is here to help! Subscribe Today!
Lesson Plan Service
Our $1.99 lesson plan service started out as an inexpensive resource for teachers. These lesson plans were originally designed to give teachers from a range of grades (K-2, 3-5, etc.) access to innovative lesson ideas. While we still plan on releasing these lessons, our sights are set much higher. Teach Maverick's Lesson Plan Division has created a long-term goal of creating full-year unit plans for every content area and grade level. This will likely result in publishing over 2,000 unit plans. While this goal may sound ambitious, we feel it will be the most important resource for teachers around the world. We plan to do this without raising our $1.99 subscription rate. Teachers should not have to worry about searching the internet for expensive lesson plans or sacrifice the small amount of time they have to create them. Our team will work every day to increase the value of your subscription. Upgrade today!
Blog
The Teach Maverick Blog was our original publication. We incorporate some of the latest educational innovations. Our goal with the blog is to push the boundaries of what is possible in the field. Education is constantly evolving, and we have to evolve with it. We owe it to our students to try anything that will set them up for a path to success in life. The Teach Maverick Blog aims to provide teachers and administrators with a fresh perspective to enhance their schools.
The Admin Angle
The Admin Angle was started to support some of the unsung heroes of schools, our building administrators. Day in and day out, principals face numerous challenges, including student behavior, parent complaints, and academic achievement. The weight on their shoulders can sometimes be unbearable. Building leaders can chart a course towards a positive learning environment if they do it correctly. We believe that building administrators can be change agents for creating a great space for learning. The Admin Angle strives to provide principals with the tools they need to succeed in their roles.
Parent Tips
Our Parent Tips page was a unique idea from our team. We felt that parents needed to have a teacher's perspective to support their child's learning experience. What many parents don't understand is that academic achievement starts with a solid partnership between teachers and parents. The Parent Tips page gives parents a major tool to help foster this relationship and help their kids with their learning. The workforce is becoming more competitive every day. Parents need to prioritize their child's learning to ensure they can compete in this evolving world. Check out our Parent Tips section to set your kids up for success!
