I. Introduction
Students finish the year by revisiting important PE skills in a playful festival format. In Grade 1, students benefit from applying what they have learned in short, familiar games that feel exciting, active, and success-friendly. This unit uses a quick locomotor and object-control review and then moves into Skill Festival Stations such as kicking goals, bowling, fitness, parachute, and tossing. The goal is to help students use their skills in fun settings, connect movement and game play, and leave PE feeling confident, active, and proud of what they can do.
