I. Introduction

In this unit, kindergarten students learn how to get their artwork ready to share by mounting it neatly for display. They practice handling artwork with careful hands, lining it up on a backing paper, and using glue or tape with the teacher’s help. Students discover that how artwork is presented—straight, neat, and labeled—helps others see it better and shows respect for their work. By the end of the unit, they can follow simple steps to mount one piece of artwork for a class display with teacher support.
