Total Unit Duration: 2 core sessions + 2 optional sessions (1–2 weeks), 20–30 minutes per session
I. Introduction
Students continue building Kindergarten PE confidence by revisiting important movement skills they have practiced throughout the year. At this stage, students benefit from joyful review experiences that help them feel successful with familiar actions such as running, hopping, jumping, throwing, and kicking. This unit uses a review of locomotor movements as the warm-up and then moves into playful favorite skills stations where students practice running, jumping, throwing, and kicking in short, exciting rounds. The goal is to help students feel proud of what they can do, strengthen control with familiar skills, and enjoy using their bodies in active, success-friendly ways.
