I. Introduction

Students continue building Kindergarten fitness by learning that jumping activities can help the body stay active and strong. In these lessons, students practice simple jumping movements that feel playful and energetic while also learning how to keep moving for a short period of time without stopping too often. This unit uses stretching and jumping jacks as a warm-up and then moves into jumping relay stations where students complete short active tasks in sequence. The goal is to help students build endurance, stay engaged in movement, and feel successful during active fitness play.
