I. Introduction
Students continue building Kindergarten movement confidence by using familiar locomotor skills in fun game settings. At this stage, students benefit from repeated chances to walk, run, hop, jump, gallop, and slide in active play that feels exciting and successful. This unit uses a follow-the-leader locomotor review as a warm-up and then moves into a playful Movement Tag game where students use different locomotor actions during tag rounds. The goal is to help students feel more comfortable using locomotor skills in games while also showing enjoyment, energy, and confidence in PE.
