Total Unit Duration: 2 core sessions + 2 optional sessions (1–2 weeks), 20–30 minutes per session
I. Introduction
Students continue building Kindergarten PE success by learning that getting better at a skill often takes more than one try. In PE, this means students hear a simple coaching tip, practice the skill again, and notice how effort and feedback can help them improve. This unit uses balance warm-ups to help students focus and control their bodies before moving into playful skill stations with teacher feedback. The goal is to help students understand that mistakes are part of learning, trying again is important, and feedback can help them grow stronger and more confident in movement.
