I. Introduction

PreK students continue building movement confidence by revisiting important ball skills they have already explored throughout the year. At this age, children benefit from repeated practice with familiar equipment and simple activities that feel playful, active, and manageable. This unit uses toss and catch warm-ups as the warm-up and then moves into ball stations where children practice rolling, tossing, catching, and kicking through short activity rounds. The goal is to help children strengthen beginning object-control skills, feel proud of what they can do with balls, and enjoy active practice in PE.
