I. Introduction
PreK students continue building movement confidence by learning that fitness can feel playful, exciting, and manageable when activities are short, clear, and active. At this age, children benefit from simple relay-style games that keep them moving, give them a clear goal, and let them rejoin quickly for another turn. This unit uses stretch and jog as the warm-up and then moves into fitness relay games where children travel, complete a short movement task, and return to their team space. The goal is to help children participate actively in physical play for short periods of time while building enjoyment, confidence, and safe movement habits.
