I. Introduction
PreK students continue building movement confidence by learning that jumping activities can help their bodies stay active and strong. At this age, children benefit from short rounds of energetic play that feel exciting, manageable, and success-friendly. This unit uses light stretching as the warm-up and then moves into jump rope lines and hopping stations, where children jump over lines, hop between markers, and move through simple active stations. The goal is to help children participate actively for short periods of time while building stamina, coordination, and enjoyment of movement.
